@IballVid It is being ported to iOS. And it's not a matter of "Oh, Apple doesn't deserve it", it's a matter of "Oh, Apple's customers deserve this." Google's not going to screw over it's user base because of competition. Not a huge fan of Google, but, provided that the technology is as powerful as it appears, this looks absolutely fantastic.

@aashir8 It's not, but the HTC Desire from Telstra is essentially exactly the same phone, just with HTC's enhancements and a few minor hardware changes. If you really want the Nexus One though I believe you can get them from Mobicity (Google it).

This looks awesome! Google Goggles is a cool name for a visual translator! When there are actual goggles involved I hope they'll do more than just translate! I'd expect a full HUD with features like zoom, night vision, infra-red and maybe X-Ray? I can't wait for when speech recognition and translation will lead to the Google Babble! (The logical choice of name rally after this and the whole Babel fish paradigm!)
