Honestly, this is supposed to be so scary? They whale has a biting force many times greater than a crocodile, and it merely holds the girls leg almsot gently that it doesn't even draw blood, and this is bad? These whales swim in ranges of hundreds of sea miles, and they are kept in tanks not even bigger than Monteray Bay Aquariums million gallon fish tank, which at one point held a young female great white shark. No wonder it was cranky. I want to go to Sea World now....

The AV is Aperture Value. You change the aperture, while the aperture changes hot much focus and how much blur will be on the photo. The blue thing. Check your WB button or it's in menu. Is it AWB ? I'm a starting on this taking pic's business and I have a EOS 10D canon camera, I take good pictures with ( on automatic mode) however once i try to take on AV mode all my pic's come out either blur or Blue overcast. Either that or add more light, e.g. flash. Obviously some times though you can't do that and so increasing the ISO is the only way. Photography is often a trade off of one thing against the other. Is it better to have a noisy/grainy image of the dark room using a higher ISO or stick to the low ISO and get nothing? Of course there is another option. Keep the ISO low, put the camera on a tripod and use a long shutter speed

Hello, I'm trying to learn how to photograph products like shoes and clothing. I use a white background and 4 lamps. The setting that I have been using is "manual". However the pictures I take come out really dark, so the only way I'm able to get a decent photo is by decreasing shutter speed which leaves me sometimes with blurry photos. What setting would be best if working with lights and white background? Thank you!

Im not biased towards Canon or anything, but my grandmother and I were travelling in Italy with our older Canon point and shoot shoot camera, which is about 4 years old. For the second time, the camera got crazy, and kept shutting off after loading. It had already been through a complete lcd failure. Idk, Im glad I didnt miss the great town of Siena when the camera failed, it finally turned back on. Never will I buy another untested Canon product again, im going with Nikon

Hi Nicole- Thanks for the question, I appreciate your input and will get started on a video to address it.I know exactly what you are talking about. What I would recommend in the mean time is to shoot on Aperture or Shutter Priority modes only (not manual). What this does is lets you decide on one of the two settings and the camera does the rest. Its very difficult for beginners to shoot on manual because you have both settings to worry about. Standby for the video!

I had exposure therapy 4 years ago and I am still anxiety free. The idea that evidence-based treatments such as exposure therapy do not work in the long term is false (or better said, outdated.) There is plenty of evidence that this works long-term. I am tired of lazy therapists spreading these lies about evidence-based treatments. Go read a scholarly journal or something, would it kill you?

Yeah. I really feel for her. Shit I do! I got PTSD triggered later on in life because of stuff that happened when I was a kid. Before I was diagnosed, whenever I go home to my dad... That happened... Exept I have never had an excuse for showing fear... It is not an option. Showing fear = getting beaten. (Plus skitting out around your parents is a very crazy thing to do) I never even knew I had PTSD, I was just crazy. So I had to pretend to be normal. (An impossible task)

Just like the media to make this look oh-so -very-easy...the facts are that this type of therapy is a struggle for many, and this poor woman may relapse and struggle again and again with this disorder the rest of her life. I hope not, and bless her for trying to help herself, but you can be certain that there will be no follow up in a few years to see if she has relapsed-- and therein lies the problem with these so called "treatments".

The TV from the dingy flat I was renting in 1998 had some sort of weird malfunction, I could only watch the shows in black and white. I've now got all of the episodes on DVD, but THIS is how I will always remember Northern Exposure. I think the series really drove a lot of teenagers at the time towards real, gutsy, odd and meaningful cinema. Almost every other TV show appears cliche and pointless by comparison.

Hey Mark, I really love your show, but there is something I would like to tell you. As a teacher of body expression during presentations, I want to tell you that you are using your hands too often. Try to use your hands to give some strength on certain parts of your presentation, but not as often as you do now. Your hand movement, even though incredible, lose their power because you over-use it.

This was one of my fave episodes... out of many. And my fave show ever. Even if the last season was odd without Joel I loved the series finale, while some woman sung "time to say goodbye to my town" you could see, for the last time, each one of the characters at home at the end of the day. (I mean the ones that really counted, not that I cared about that new doctor and his wife). A perfect moving goodbye for a show that had wonderful endings for the individual episodes too.

Amazing show and ahead of its time really. This show was a great escape for a lot of us. To me, the characters were more real than a lot of people I knew. The storytelling was superb. But, at the end of each episode, for me, it was the mixture of poem, narration or acting with just the right music that, in a moment, seemed to bring everything together, teach a lesson or remind us of what's really important and reveal the true hero of the show... a little, magical place called Cecily.

Nope :( Joel wasn't even if most of Season 5 and all of Season 6 if I remember correctly. I don't think he even shows up in the finale. Maggie and Chris dance together in the finale and I think we're just left to wonder from that point.
