The split didn't start in motion till right after I Love Lucy ended and The Lucy & Desi Comedy Hour started. A lot of sadness on set. Lucy crying, etc. I've read in some scenes, if you look closely you can tell she'd been crying. I've also read in the early or mid 1960s they considered getting back together but dropped the idea.
