What I don't get is, while the camouflage was good, there was still a difference between the snake and the sand. If the lizard paid close attention, it should of noticed. The snake also waited a few seconds before striking.

It's really difficult to ID a snake by common names. There're no real two steppers in the world, where your dead in two steps. You might collapse in a few steps due to a drop in blood pressure. The Sharp-nosed Pit viper & the Maylayan Pit Viper are serious customers from that part of the world. These two have the ability to knock you on your ass in short order.

Remember "Adders" is a common name, not a scientific name. Every venomous snake in South or Central America just about are called "Fer-DeLance" when there is only one species that really holds claim to that name. In this video I go in search of Adders on some scrub land in east Norfolk. The area is known to have plenty of these wonderful yet venomous animals. Typically, none were found in this video but I show you where you should look. Please remember that these snakes are dangerous and should be treated with extreme caution - look but never touch.

And after years of getting experience and keeping reptiles I am going to get my first venomous snake and my favorite of all snakes. A desert horned viper (Cerastes cerastes) after getting with flying colours my DWA license and I am very excited to be keeping one of these must be respected at all times animals and certainly as you viperkeeper say many times totally not a pet.

The best way to avoid snake attacks is to try not to piss them off but that's not always possible. I'd suggest completely wrapping yourself in aluminum foil before going into snake country. This will make the snake think you are a robot and probably not bite you. Attacks on robots make up less than 2% of all snake bite victims.

Back away very slowly unless you are within striking distance, then you should jump away quickly. Death adder venom is neurotoxic (causes paralysis) and can cause respiratory shutdown in as little as 6 hours, but it usually takes longer so do not panic if you get bitten. They can most definately kill you if you don't seek medical attention immediately.

Sega probably considered it was too late already to release a home version of this game. This is a 1992 game and it would have appeared on the Sega Saturn either in the very end of 1994 or during 1995. That, together with not troubling themselves into converting a System 32 game into a so different platform like the Sega Saturn. Golden Axe The Duel was different because of both being a 1994 game and a ST-V game, so the conversion to Sega Saturn was easy cake.

Great vid showing both sexes of adder. I must admit that I have seen more dead than alive by quite away. Some people see the word venomous in books and when they see one they automatically try to kill it even though Adder venom is really weak and poses no real problem to people. If you change 1 persons view of this beautiful snake then well done, more than that is a real bonus.
