Pryor and Carlin are definitely top two. The order can change depending on mood, but they're definitely top 2.

thats not to say mooney's jokes about race are cheap tho. mooney's got some the funniest and most original race jokes i've ever heard, some of the funniest jokes in general.

richard pryor is good and may be #2 but george carlin is #1 no doubt
By: RevAlex. on 25 Nov 08, 00:37:40
One of the things I really enjoy about Carlin is that he knows how to play the mostly-bullshit Hollywood "Game," which is something that even a lot of professionals forget from time to time. Take mentioning his dead wife in the last seconds of the segment - a rather crass thing to do, in my opinion. He handled that with exceptional grace.
By: carpet9999999999. on 24 Nov 08, 12:29:04

By: carpet9999999999. on 24 Nov 08, 12:27:39

By: youvebeenthunderstru. on 03 Oct 08, 01:37:05
Wait, was he seriously PAID for appearing on Letterman? I thought people did talk shows because they genuinely did it of their own accord and because they wanted to?
By: dilmao. on 27 Sep 08, 10:55:59
well, then fuck you too bmwM3ftw, he's definitely not. Tell me specifically which part of this interview that made you laugh... tell me, verbatim. I dare you. He's very intelligent and has a lot of important thing to say, no doubt, but funniest man in comedy he's most certainly not. You've missed out on alot of funny stuff if this is the funniest you've seen.
By: TheGodKingSatanX. on 26 Sep 08, 19:08:52
i live in malaysia, and didnt know who Carlin was until he died, and learned about his great work, only after that. But thank god for that, bcos had it been any sooner, i would have grieved and had a huge depression, he totally was my idol after watching a few hbo specials. the guy is a motherfucking genius, and i hardly knew ye.
By: bmwM3ftw. on 26 Sep 08, 18:36:56
fuck you, he's the funniest and smartest comedian in america.
By: sounddesign81. on 18 Sep 08, 00:10:11
why don't you have just a little respect and keep that to yourself
By: dilmao. on 13 Sep 08, 01:39:24
I really don't think he's that funny but he's a brilliant commentator on society and the human condition.
By: badtown88. on 06 Sep 08, 20:03:44
So true. He never trailed off. He wasn't some old relic. He was always brilliant. I miss this guy!
