that's what sucked about Armageddon was that you could only give your fighter a single sword, a hammer or an axe. If I could use weapons like Sais, Nunchucks or a Bo Staff, I would have made Michelangelo, Donatello or Raphael. If you could've given your fighters Pulse Blades [red, green or blue], I would've made characters from Star Wars.

That is an interesting question. While creating your own characters is fun, in terms of showing off, it's more pleasing(and less fan-creepy)to do pre-existing characters. My first, non showed character where, in fact original characters. But who cares about "Oryuko" or "Snare"? Here's Superman!
